Abstinence is the only sure way to stop the spread. Wait for a committed relationship before you start having sex. Will start to curb HIV. We've had about 20 years of getting the word out about condom use and it just isn't working. Yet, some just keep blindly pushing it as if one day people are just going to want to use them.

I am a stickler for safe sex because I know the risks involved and that sex in adult decision. Unfortunately, I still managed to contract HPV. Condoms dont always prevent every STD. HPV and Herpes can be found around the scrotum, the thighs, the anus and since the penis is the only thing that is covered by the condom, you can still get something. Everyone needs to realize the risk involved is more thant what you know.

Yes. Abstinence or quality, approved, condoms, BTW, nothing last-minute from a vending machine, tho' better than nothing, I guess.
Our team manager asked us all, for the company magazine, why we donate blood. Most said polite things about the free food & Guinness & a break from work (we get time off to donate as a group) & feeling that you were doing a good thing. One guy said "To meet people for safe sex!" LOL!
Ask them to show a donor card on the second date!

I haven't had sex in now 20 years but if I did I would be married, therefore I would not have my hubby use a condom.
If I was out whoring around then yes I would have my sex partner use one.
Safe sex is- NO Sex or be married to a clean partner

i always use a condom!!!! i've lost too many people to this disease. i will not become a statistic.unfortunately condom use is way down with younger people (i'm 38) most seem to think if you get sick (if they think at all) take the cocktail and the world is all rosy. unfortunately we still don't teach sex ed in most schools, other than abstinance which will work for oh maybe 2% of teenagers.this disease is spreading faster than ever.

I haven't yet done anything like that, but I know how much my parents stress about this kind of thing. Me and all my friends are straight-edge. that means no drugs, alchohol, or un protected sex. So when the time finally comes we'll be practicing safe sex. ( I also have quite a few non-parental examples of what happens when you do have safe-sex..that kinda scares me too)

everyone who is active having sex with lots of partners should use condoms. I myself I have been in a stable relationship more than 3 years so I don't use them and I can't have a baby.

Awesome. I'm a virgin, and plan to keep it that way, until I find a woman I can spend the rest of my life with. That's how I'm contributing to an AIDS-free society.
