I thought it was mostly unrealistic, but at least it took some unexpected turns. Kate Hudson's acting was pretty good too.

I actually loved it! Kate Hudson is a terrific actress, the plot was outstanding, and I didn't see the end coming!

Ok I expected it to be absolutely horrible. It was one of those movies I only rented because I was desperate for a horror movie. It turned out to be better than I thought it would. I mean it wasn't realistic, but how many are these days. I have to say, I honestly thought it would suck hard, so I was suprised when it turned out to be not so bad...I mean it was better than most stuff I see on tv so I'd give it a 4 or a 5 on a scale of 1-10.
I think the previews killed it for me. Whoever was doing the clips for the previews made the movie look totally cheesy...so I was happily suprised when I saw it.
I didn't completely see the ending coming which was nice because in general I can see the ending coming a mile away =P

I really enjoyed it - a good twist at the end. I, on the other hand, thought that Kate Hudson's character was a most depressing gal - although this is not a reflection on her acting skills

I liked it...usually I can figure out what is going to happen. This movie suprised me! Even gave me a shiver or two! You must believe....I think Kate Hudson was very believable in this movie!

Well I thought the movie was pretty good and the back woods Orleans voo doo beliefs are alittle strange but there are some that do believe in spells, curses, hexes or whatever. I like the ending of the movie.

I agree with you. Kate Hidson did a better job in "Raising Helen" though. "The Skeleton Key" sucked though.
