YES 6:30 every night is mine in a family of 5 with football games and practice and camp, cheer leading games, practices, and camp, my family stays busy we have no actual time to stop and smell the roses so to say 2 years ago we started having a attitude problem with my oldest son (13 at the time) i decided then to start the family dinner and also a family game night the attitude disappeared within a month it gives you time to talk about things bothering you with out all the distraction that are common in families. We call it unplugged time no electronics allowed due family game night and none during dinner. Establish a good time for you and run with it you will be happy!

Yes, Un-hun, You-Bet, Roger-that, Ten-4-Good buddy, On the nose, Yeppers.
Who doesn't like food??? It's always good to have a time to shut the world out and focus on the family. After all the family is a very important part of our lives, and it's good to give it it's own time and space. Dinner should also include the family working together to pre-pair the dinner and clean up the dinner. A family united stays united!!!

Yes, it definitely is, at home is nice, but sitting down anywhere to relax and eat and talk is good.
People are always amazed at how well my son and I have gotten along. I think it is because we always ate dinner together, unless he was with his father and he played travel sports, which called for long times together in the car. This actually is a very good time to talk, because I think for some topics it was easier for him to speak, if he knew I was watching the road and not his face.

Absolutely. It is a time when everyone sits down together to enjoy a meal. You can discuss school, work, what's going on in the world or whatever. It is an important part of family life that is irreplaceable.

Yes, it is. I grew up in a large family. That's the time you all
get together and learn about each other. It makes you closer.
I think back on those times for me, and most of my family
is gone now. It is precious memories.

you'd think it would be. depends on the family. it SHOULD be beneficial. however, with the family backround that i had, it wasn't very beneficial b/c of how i was treated.
