ok a little while ago someone trashed me on a blog for no aparent reason. this person doesn't know me. we only met once. so i sent him a message back thinking i would take the highrer road and not trash him. then he takes the letter i sent and also posts it in the blog. i'm trying so hard not to be mad,but i am pondering my next course of action. what should i do and how can i prevent this from happening again?

Ask him if his life is that pathetic that he has nothing better to do than to trash you and then just let it go. Ignoring him will hurt worse than any attention you may give him.

I had a similar problem with someone and till this day they think they did nothing wrong. The only reason they stopping slagging me off was because I told them I was going to report them which they really didn't want. The thing is if you tell him... he may turn round and report you. So you need to decide if you can let it go by not doing anything or just report him... there is a section on his 360 to do it, I've never done it before but they make ask you why so you can just copy and paste all the stuff he's posted about you and he may lose his 360

take the high road hold your head high place a comment in the blog that "some ppl are just born a**holes and will always be a**holes you never know when your gonna cross one" let by gones be by gones and move on who cares else he says

May I suggest you take the higher road and walk away. Just forget about it. By emailing him you are just doing exactly what he wants you to do. He's trying to push your buttons. By not responding to his behavior you will show that you are the bigger person.

dont know what you can do now-i try to not respond but sometimes i have to call someone on what they said knowing that i probubily am just letting myself in for so hate mail-let it run its course and maybe people will judge you by your words and actions rather than what he says-keep the peace lots of love old hippie

I agree with the other responses you've gotten. The other person has already shown you what type of person they are. Forgive them, but don't give them any more opportunity to continue their inconsiderate ways.
Just like with a fire, if you don't continue to give it fuel, it goes out.

can you block him from even viewing your blog? there may be an option to block them or have only people that you want to see your blog see it. Good Luck

Ignore him. Some people are just a**holes. Take the high road and ignore him. Don't let him know that it bothers you.

first of all, you shouldn't trust anyone on the Internet. second of all, don't e-mail him again and don't talk to him, don't do anything back, just forget it. it will all go away and then you will have now learned a lesson.
