I keep getting these emails from countries like England and Nigeria from people claiming to be lawyers for the estates of wealthy deceased families wanting me to claim to be next of kin to claim the money and split it with them. It seems like a big hoax to me and I always delete them without reply. They inform you that they will need your account info. to wire the money after you fill out some forms or something anyways I am highly skeptical and just wondered how many other people get them, they are so annoying and really must think people are stupid.

No, thank gosh, but you're right to delete or trash them. It is a BIG hoax and unfortunately the hoaxers have made a lot of money off of this scam. I can't believe some people would fall for it.

I got an email like this from a lawyer from Nigeria as it said. The only thing you can do with them is to delete them, don't believe what these guys are writing.

Yes, I get those too...I think they realize that most people will not believe the emails are legit, but there might be a few stupid ones out there...especially if the person is drunk when they read their email.

Yes, those are major scams. If you contact the person, he/she/it will ask for your bank account information so they can "wire" you some huge amount of money.

Instead, though, they empty your checking account.

Everyone gets them. Of course, they are lame attempts at scamming you. Sad thing is, only .01% need to respond to make them rich.
