A male donkey and a mare make a mule. A male horse and a female donkey make a hinny. Both are hybrids.

I understand what you mean...I am Catholic and my daughter attends a Lutheran school, my father's family is Lutheran too. The Lutheran accept and love my daughter as if there wasn't a difference in faiths. Actually, the Catholic Church does recognize Lutheran baptism as valid, since they baptize with the Trinity. They will not baptize her again, but accept the Lutheran baptism when you want to bring her into the Church. I am not sure if it is your husband giving you this misinformation regarding the Catholic Church, so maybe you should talk to the pastoral assistant at his church to get the answers. I think what is most important here is what the parents want. Also, I am going to ask my daughters teacher today about whether or not they rebaptize those who convert to Lutheran. It doesn't seem they would do that with a Catholic since they both use the Trinity. Please don't listen to CJ, he is mentally challenged in his lack of faith in Christ. Jesus doesn't hate baptism of babies, all came to be baptized, no one was left out. Christ loves us all.

It's a mule. I guess technically a hinny, but most people categorize them under the broad "mule" term now. My neice has one named Sassifrass.
