No, absolutely not. Death is one of the few constants in life, we spend our entire lives knowing it is coming, and every human who has ever gone before has faced and passed this challenge. Knowing we have a finite time on this Earth helps us to focus on living our days in the way that seems best for us. I've come very close to death on two or three occasions, and it was never frightening, rather a general sense of inevitability and completeness. Live your life fully, and meet death with open eyes. We can't know what happens next, but it can't be changed, so don't fret about it!

I have NEVER been afraid of dying, seriously, not that I purposely look for stunts to die, but I just accept this as part of life. Another cycle..birth, living, and then death. Growing up with a stepfather that was petrified of death however, was not , pleasant, he would have vivid dreams and be screaming at the top of his lungs. I guess I just don't understand how anyone can be that afraid of anything, but I do have a theory. I think it's partially installed into you as a young child your thoughts about death, but also how "mature" a soul you are. I also believe that we will all answer to " Lord" (that's my choice, if not yours you can replace with whatever you choose to say), and this scares certain people. I especially think, like murders, child rapists , etc. are scared of death. Sometimes, I just think it's a "guilty conscious"

Have already come close to death in a head-on-collision 11 years ago. In that situation, a person has no time reflect on anything because it happens so fast. The same year, I watched my son die of cancer. Any of us can go any time. I live life one day at a time trying to be kind to everyone and holding no bitterness toward anyone. If you believe in God and Jesus dying on the cross and the resurrection, then you don't need to fear death. The Bible says we need to worry more about our soul than what happens to the body. We came from dust, we go back to dust. The thought of going through death alone scares people.

It didn't really come to my attention until I got cancer. I'm not scared of death at all. My only problem with dying is that my job here is not done. My daughter is only 11. I am worried sick about what will happen to her. Her father is a good father but he is a miserable excuse for a mother.

No, I am not afraid of death. There is a point in life where you learn to except death more easily. My brother killed himself in 1991. It made me think of death a lot!!! Now that I am older, I realize that death is a part of life and something I can't control.
If you are having concerns or constant thoughts about death, you may want to talk to a counselor, trusted friend, or your religious advisor if you have one. Also, there are toll free numbers to call to get free, anonomus counseling.
I wish you the very best!

Nope. Death comes to all living organisms sometime or the other, and is a natural process of deterioration. Some persons are scared of death on account of suppositions concerning what happens after one dies {reffered to by Psychics as the afterlife.}
However colorful, and mainly frightful these accounts may be, the truth is when one dies, one dies, and decomposing, is reduced to dust.

Sometimes I think I am. Of course I'm afraid of not being able to live and breath, think and move. But death isn't what I'm afraid of. It's whats after death that scares me. But I'm not afraid knowing that it happens to everyone and almost everything, and that being afraid of it will not change the fact that it will happen.

Those who live in fear have little faith in their standing of death. Some know they're going to to fly away one day, worrying about that day will not extend your time on earth. I am saddened by what my friends and family will feel if that day should come. Remember, it's a question of when, not if.
