Everyone is different. I had cramping with all 4 of my pregnancies and the doctor told me that it was the muscles stretching and nothing to worry about. You have made it that far without anything bad happening, and your doctor should tell you what is going on if you call, especially if you are worried. That is what they get paid for. And big bucks at that!

Yeah I thought it was Braxton Hicks to but when the blood showed up and I went to the hospital at 29 wks I was dilated to 3 cm's. By the time they transferred me not 30 minutes away I was at 4.

After 3 wks in the hospital on complete bedrest with more meds than I care to talk about I had a beautiful baby boy at 32 wks. Thankfully he was healthy and happpy for a 32 wker and came home in 15 days.

Now is he 7 years old with no ill effects. Let you Dr. know you are spotting with this cramping it is not normal.

Braxton Hickis is what a doctor would tell you. You are in a stage where everything is growing quicker and getting bigger this can sometimes cause cramps. Make sure your drinking alot of water and takie your prenatal vitimins. If you start spotting or leaking fluids you should go to a hospital.

Yah, your at least a month to 9 weeks to early to labor so the most likely thing is that you have Braxton Hicks contractions. To treat this you need to drink more water as they are thought to be caused by dehydration...

I think you should buy some books about pregnancy, because this is a common symptom of Braxton Hicks. If you don't know that it might be healthy and wise for you to visit your library or book store and learn more about pregnancy.

braxton hicks, your uterus is "exercising" for labor and delivery. harmless contractions, but sometimes very painful, other times you don't even feel them.
