Minimum $80,000 to $100,000 a year and invest wisely. It's not going to mean a thing if you can't offer them a house or a chance to retire. This is assuming they also have a job and contribute to some extent. All pretty girls aren't gold diggers. Most I think are looking to have professional lives to some extent and want a man with money for security's sake.

Understand also that a woman's beauty will diminish with age, where as men become distinguished...usually. Therefore at some point she'll be less likely to leave you because it will be harder to return to the dating world. Use this to your advantage.

Your salary must continue to increase as you age at a larger rate than inflation. Young girls are not going to date a guy making $100 grand if the guy is in his 60's. Not sure how old you are but I would say at least 150.00 dollars per day every day to cover basic living expenses for you and her. Multiply this by seven and then by 30.
