They are a great band. I don't like the fact that they've been shunned by so-called hardcore punk bands for the fact that they signed onto a major label. I myself love punk rock more than any other type. I am all about "keeping it real" and "not selling out". However, I don't see signing with a major label as selling out. I would only see Green Day as sellouts if they were to change their beliefs and personal values to sell more records (i.e. Beasty Boys, AFI, and surprisingly the Goo Goo Dolls). Green Day is an amazing band, and I wish they'd come my way so I can finally see them. All hail Billy Joe!

I think Green Day Rock and I like their music a lot mate.

I'm sure they love you back. And all of their fans that have bought their albums. They're not my favorite band but I do like them alot. I like their old songs better but American Idiot isn't so bad. As long as I listen to it as an album not just individual songs it's great.
