You will need to acquire what is known as an unlock, or subsidy passcode. There are two routes to take to acquire this, one is free, and one will cost you.

The free route - Contact your service provider and ask for the unlock code for your particular make and model device.

The cost route - Find someone online who will locate the unlock code for your device for a fee, should the provider be unable to.
