HDD stands for hard drive. In this case the computer has identified FUJITSU MHT2040AH-CPM as your active hard drive so put it first in the boot order. After you are finished setup you may wish to go back in and reset the primary to CDROM so you can boot from CDs should the need arise.

First off playing with your bios can be very bad if you don't know what your doing. I would reccomend your read up a lot more until you understand it before you change things.

As for changing the boot order, it depends on which bios and version you have.

Mine has a screen similar to this one.

It sounds like you are pretty computer illiterate, why do you want to do this to your computer. Leave this to the people who understand computers before you hand out with an expensive boat anchor instead of a computer.

IDE HDD is your harddirve, something also known as IDE0 (zero) or HDD0 (zero), if you choose this as your first bootable device, it will boot directly from the harddrive first.
