I have a red delicious apple tree that has been in the ground for about 8 or 9 yrs now and is still in the dwarf size, i've fertilized the area several times. I've also planted a yellow delicous near the red delicious tree and it has out grown to a full sized tree ..... any suggestions

was it perchance mislabled and you bought a dwarftree in the first place???

Maybe the tree isn't mean to grow in your area. I know that there are certain trees and stuff that I can't plant in my area.

Just a guess, but it probably wasn't planted in a properly prepared hole in the first place. Poor drainage? Or, could it be a dwarf?
