The best state is California. The state is like a whole seperate country. On the same day you can snow board and then later on in the day go snow skiing. I love how Redbone said Atlanta, that must be the 51st state.

Finish your question. Best state for what? If you mean for mountain climbing, I would avoid Florida. For surfing, I wouldn't recommend Utah. For a winter suntan, Montana is not to be recommended.
