Where can I find a job as a song writer?

I'm a good song writer and I was wondering if anybody knew where I can go to score a steady job somewhere writing songs for others and get paid doing so. Thanks!

There aren't as many steady jobs as songwriters and lots of people who want them. Maybe a better approach would be to find a musician to work with, at least until you can get noticed. It worked well for Bernie Taupin. (Elton John's lyricist) Besides, who wants to make art by the pound anyway?
