You start counting 28 days from the 1st day that you started your period. Your next period should start around June 17th. However, since this is your first period, you may not yet be that regular.

You start counting from the first day of your period, but your cycle could be a couple of days less or a couple of days more as every woman is different and you will only be able to know your "own" cycle once you get your period for maybe three consecutive months... So, do not go by anyone woman's cycle but your own.. the 28 days, is what "doctors and people" consider the normal cycle... But that does not necessarily mean that you are that way..

well, every woman's period comes at different times, it could be as little as every 21 days or all the way up to every 31 days and that's normal. You are counting from the day your period is gone completely, i suggest you mark these dates every month on the callendar so that you will get an idea of how long your particular cycle is.

A "normal" period is 28-32 days from the START of your period. Sucks doesn't it?

Not all women are that regular. I got my period every 5-8 weeks before I was on the pill. I think when your period is starting, chances are it won't be right on schedule, then, unless you're like me, it will regularize. Welcome to womanhood! :O)
