How important do you think image is? Can you be beautiful and deap at the same time?

And another thing.. Can you name someone famous who you think is both. I'm wanting to get into the fashion industry but I don't want to be all shallow. So basically I'm wanting to get your opinions on image and depth so I can have something nice to think about :)

I think it depends on the person and how strong that person is. If you are comfortable with yourself and know yourself, and you also know that you are mentally strong enough you should give it a shot for the fashion industry. At the end of the day if you find yourself changing before you realize it your environment (family, friends, etc) will be able to let you know.

i think image is very important, especially if u want to get into the fashion industry....b/c if u go to an interview or something looking like a homeless person, do ya think that ur gonna be their first choice? nope...so its important...it's definitely something u want to keep up b/c it'll help ya get ur job...and if u wear somethin cute....ur not being shallow, just don't follow those modeling/ fashion ads and clothing..sometimes they go too far w/ the clothing and make it look a little bizarre...just walk in, be urself and think positive...if they see the real you, u won't be considered shallow b/c u'll be being urself...good luck!!!!

i think that what is inside that counts its not just looks that make you beautiful it's your personality and charisma, if your a nasty person that will show on the outside. everyone is beautiful as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. different people find different looks attractive. just because dont think someone is beautiful does not mean millions of other people feel the same. as for the fashion industry its the same you may design something and think its wonderfull and so will lots of other people but equally lots of people won't. it life people see things in different light, if we didnt it be boring and there would be fun of finding love cause you'd find every one attractive and great or vice verser

I think you can be both beautiful and deep at the same time-personally I think not being shallow is part of what makes people pretty to begin with. I think Oprah is someone who is beautiful, worldly and also very caring and generous!

of course u can be both, just got to keep it real, jess alba and sarah michelle gellar are so hot but seem so nice and SMG does loads of charity work to.just dont fall in mistake of thinking that the hotter you look they less attractive eveyone else is, course u may be so hot but there is beauty in anyone and u being better lookin aint gonna make u a better person than anyone else, so juyst stay same as u are now

Image is important, but not as important as being a good person.
I reckon Angelina Jolie is beautiful and deep, if a little crazy. Tyra Banks is also beautiful, plus she helps people who need it.

Well I believe you can be both but usually those kind of people have not always been beautiful or have had their down times. Sometimes hardships make us appreciate what we have if u understand and always being beautiful and having your own way can make you spoiled and self centred.

beutiful people can be deep. but a lot get carried away with being complmented on thier looks.
