I've lost abit of weight over the years and now I am trying to gain some weight again. Due to this i have stretch marks on my hips and bum. What can i do and does anyone suffer from this too? I don't think i can actually get rid of them because they look like there here to stay! I think this is one of the reasons why i won't get far with a guy coz i don't know what they will think to them...will thay be discusted?! ;-)

My wife and I have 2 children. She has a few marks on her lower abdomen and a few one her thigh's as well. I have never felt disgusted by them. She has used cocoa butter and has faded them away a bit. I'm crazy about my wife, and never pay attention to them. To tell you the trruth I don't see them when she has no clothes on. Bottom line is if a man loves you he'll see past the marks. If he/she doesn't then you have to question their true love for you.

I have stretchmarks so badly. Worse than anyone in the world i bet. They are long and so deep, and just gross looking.. my whole stomach and hips,COVERED! I am not fat, nor anything. I got them so bad after having my two kids. I hate them so much, even thought about getting surgery to remove them. Ive tried creams, and strivectin/trilastinwhich is hundred each bottle.. nothing will help, nothing. Ive been so self conscious about then, every time i bend over and my hips show, i get so embarrassed , and i wear and buy shirt i know will completely cover me all the way. But im so used to them now it doesn't bother me to much anymore. Luckily my husband has no problem with my stretch marks b/c they are a part of me. he loves me just the way I am and that make me feel better about them.

Hun lots of people get stretch marks... Especially women. But anyone can get them from gaining weight to having a growth spirt as a kid. There are products out there to help them heal faster... most of them are perscription so talk to your doctor they will be able to recommend it to you which (over the counter or perscription) But seriously hun Don't worry about it. My husband and I have been married for 4 years and I just asked him if my stretch marks ever bothered him... He looked at me like i was a nut and said "you have stretch marks" LOL so don't worry about it they probably won't even notice them. Boys aren't as detail oriented as we are. Be healthy and know that the one who is best for you is the one who is gonna Love you for who you are and those little imperfections aren't going to matter a hill of beans to him! Here's a good site to give ya some info... God bless you dear be happy and be healthy.

Alot of people have this problem, so please dont think you are the only one. I am 27 and have had them since I was 16. Although they did get worse after pregnancy when I was 23. Coco butter seems to be what "they" say to use. As far as a guy being disgusted by it, you would be surprised how many really are not. It is generally all in your head. So feel beautiful and confident and that is what people will see.

I've also got them and I'm skinny. I think a lot of women do. It's completely normal so if a guy doesn't like you just coz of that he's gonna have a hard time getting anywhere!!
Ofcourse you can try cream and vitamin E oil like everyone's saying but to some extent you have to accept that it's a part of having a womanly body and if a guy's attracted to you, he should accept the full package... I mean you have to accept his so it's only fair!! ;)

I've got loads of stretchmarks from having my two kids, it doesn't help that my weight is always yo yo-ing, i have them on the backs of my knees and my sides, i think cocoa butter does help, i have never tried it though, to be completely honest with you i don't think men are really that bothered about stretch marks, if you find a man who is disgusted by them then tell him to sling his hook because if a man really likes you then he will see past them, don't worry about them, they are part of you now and you can't change that so don't let them get you down, K :o)

i have stretch marks on my lower belly from my first pregnancy. i dont think u can get rid of them but they do fade alot with time. i dont worry about them, i always think, if someone dumps me because of a few stretch marks, then they are so shallow, they are not worth being with anyway. try not to be so self concious of them, i know that is easier said than done but if someone loves u, stretch marks will make no difference, in fact, they will love them to.

God...I used to be a size 14, but now I'm a size 10-12 and I have stretch marks on my thighs - it doesn't take much weight loss, does it?!

I've got them too because of weight loss, on my arms, back of the legs and thighs, on my back and bum and hips, and they're really prominent across my lower back; like a zebra. But I actually like them, so I cant see why anyone else would mind them!

Yup they are there to stay. I have them on my upper thighs and around my breasts. Hey, if a guy doesn't like them then to heck with him! You can try some Vitamin E oil, it might help. I say throw the jerks who judge you by them in the toilet and move on!
