Because it was in game 2 (I think) that Shaq elbowed Stackhouse across the nose and Jerry had to have three stitches to close the cut. I doubt Stackhouse expected to be suspended, I think Shaq gets preferred treatment. I mean, he's a great player and all, if you are going to throw elbows, expect the same in return.

I'm a Piston's fan, so I really don't care. Your right-it would have been a he*l of a fight !!!

Because he wanted to be the second player in history to knock shaq on the ground. Ben Wallace is the first (he did it without fouling also and blocking the shot)

Jerry stakehouse did absoulutly nothing wrong friday all he wanted to do is foul shaq so he can go to the free throw line.

obviously his intent was not to get suspended. many are shocked he was. hard fouls are common in the NBA. I'm sure there have been harder fouls that have not resulted in that kind of action.
