In Group E it will be exciting now to see who goes forward. With the tied game between Italy and the USA, and Ghana beating the Czech Republic the next round of games will be most interesting.

Czech Republic will play their hardest, as they want to go through, since losing to Ghana.

Ghana will want to hold on so will push to beat the USA in their game.

Italy will not want to lose against Czech Republic, and the USA will want to stop Ghana.

With three teams battling it out, it could be anyones game, but where will it leave the USA? Out of the big picture I am afraid. But they did play a great game tonight!

Italy actually has so much chances and they pretty much, have no worries.

From the 4 teams, Italy has the best option. It only needs a draw with Czech to advanced, no matter wath happens with the match between USA and Ghana. I
The only way Italy could not advance is the team losess to Czech and Ghana wins againts USA. In this case Czech and Ghana have 6 points each, Italy 4 and USA 1.
But at the end, Italy cann't take chances and have to go for the win, and so have to do the other teams.

As someone mentioned, you more or less answered your question. At any rate, compared to the US, Italy's odds are incredibly good. As for the person who seems to think the top two in this group go on to play either Argentina or the Netherlands, you're a bit mixed up - the winners of this group go on to play the winners of the Brazil/Croatia/Japan/Australia group. If the US does make it through as a result of two big upsets (they will need to get at least 3 or 4 goals against Ghana and they'll need the Italy/Czech match to end in a draw), they'd make it through as second, and if Brazil wins their group, that could be the end of the road for the States.

The problem as I see it, is that if you move to Italy with this guy, you're putting yourself into a really one-sided relationship -- and that's not healthy for any friendship or relationship. He's in sexually attracted to and in love with you, you're not sexually attracted to or in love with him. Right now, he says that's not a problem, but once you get to Italy and are living together, seeing each other every day and spending a lot of time together, who knows if it will turn into a problem? He'll be working and supporting you, while you won't be able to work and won't have any money of your own. You'll be completely dependent on him for everything -- a roof over your head, food, clothing, transportation, entertainment, pocket money, etc etc.... Personally, if I were you, I'd be really uncomfortable at the thought of being so completely financially dependent on someone in a foreign country, thousands of miles from home with no way to leave. If the two of you get into a fight and you p*ss him off, what's to stop him from throwing you out of *his* house or apartment? And considering his sexual interest in you -- combined with his financial power over you -- I think you can see where I'm going with this...? Do you speak Italian? Does he? If he does speak the language, and you don't -- that's yet another area where he has all the power and you have none. And your medical and psychiatric issues have me concerned, too. Moving thousands of miles away to a foreign country, away from your doctor who is familiar with your medical and psychiatric history (you're on prescription meds, you must be under a doctor's care!) sounds very risky to me! I'd be really worried about that if I were you. My overall opinion is that living with this guy in Italy is NOT a good idea. Visiting him in Italy, for a week or two at a time, might be OK, but I wouldn't commit to living with him permanently for the reasons I've already explained.

Italy only need to draw to go through, however they should play for a win so they get an easier second round match. Italy should really manage to get a point off of Czech Republic.

Czechs will beat Italy and Ghana will beat the USA, so Ghana and Czechs will go through.

not that i am all that bothered because England are already through (unconvincingly), as long as we finish top of our group so we avoid Argentina i will be happy.

The Italians have a very good chance, as long as they tie or beat the Czechs, who have been off their game during their game against Ghana.

I don;t think Italy deserve a place in the final 13. Very poor showing against a "foul" US performance.

I am rooting for Ghana, fantastic game against the Czechs.

usa played well tonight, but they have to learn how play in a decent a clean way, without automatically hurting or breaking the opponent's rythm by hitting. but i think ghana will swallow them.
while the other game btw czech rep and italy will be exciting.

Italy haven't played their best players yet. They can come out and win. But if they come runners up, the teams from the other groups will have a challenge on their hands, as the no.1 from each group will face them. Brazil might aim for this situation.
