If u know Macromedia flash then its gonna be very easy for u. Open a project>import pictures>(select as many pictures as u want>corrcet the order> save it in gif format

Open "paint" or some other image creation software (photoshop and Gimp are also options for more advanced users).
Draw a picture using the various tools provided.
Go to file->save as...
Pick a name for your file.
Where it says "save as type", click the drop down menu and select ".gif"

If you are converting another picture to the .gif format, save the original picture on your hard drive.
Open the picture using a picture editing program.
Save the picture as a .gif the same way as above.

I will assume you allready have the pic on your computer somewhere and just want to save it as a different format. If that is all, then simply open it in Microsoft Paint.....

Begin by having the file where you can easily see it, either by dragging it to the desktop or opening the folder in explorer. Then click.....

Start....Accessories.....Paint

when paint is opened simply drag and drop the image file on to the paint surface. The click.....

File.....Save As

Beside the words "Save as type" click the white box and pick "GIF (*.GIF)"

Then type in a name in the box beside where it says "File name" and click the save button.

if ya got adobe photoshop
simply open the pic ya have there ...
n click on save as ... n choose save as .gif :)

use a drawing program like photoshop, microsoft paint acdsee etc.
-draw your image
-file save as/ gif

or programmatically,
-create a bmp object,
-paint to it and then
-save it to disk.
