You'd think at least someone would choose the best answer if they took the time to ask the question. I don't care who gets the points, but might find it interesting to see the persons choice.

It looks like you've only started four days ago. Each question is given a week to accumulate as many answers as possible before the asker is required to choose a best answer. Be patient! You only have a few days to go.

I agree with you, I have over 230 best answers. But I much prefer the ones chosen by the asker.
Sure it's nice too, when someone else votes for you, that's nice also.
But we write our answers for the asker, and hope we are giving them good advice. Often it's a long and carefully though out one.
So at least the asker, should at least vote on the answers. Yahoo does notify them when it's time, so not knowing, isn't an excuse.
Anyway, keep it up, I have had some very nice reponses to mines, along with just the word thanks. But at least they voted for you.

I am guessing people that get alot of best answers don't answer the question honestly but answer as according to what the person wants to hear. and I am guessing some of it is rigged if they go back in other screenames and give themselves a best answer. Or ask friends to do this. I answer honestly truly and from my brain and heart. If this isn't popular then ok but I think it is the right way to answer.

if best answer is not chosen after 2 weeks, question goes into voting and winner still gets 10 points.

You have to keep checking back at the questions you answered using the "My Q & A" option.

So vote on some. i agree it can be annoying, when some one won't choose, or even put it up for vote....but hey, some folks beat their dogs, and that really bothers me. Oh yeah....choose me
