well i found out my mom is cheating, and im wondering, if my dad finds out, does he get to keep the house and everything that's under his name, and under both there names? such as my moms car is under both my parents names, does he get to have it? My mom's told us that she's cheating, and im sure my dad is hiring a Privite investigator to investiage this. who gets that stuff?

oh i forgot to say hte guy shes cheating with has a range rover, i think its leased, and he still loves with his momma/

It really depends on which state that you live in. If there are children at home, Mom usually gets most,until the kids are grown. It's discussed and decided during the divorce. Some states split 50-50. Some divorces can get nasty.just because of bitter feelings. But it sill comes down to What they finally agree on in the end.

Depends where you live. But here in NJ, my cousin's ex-wife cheated on him, then walked out on him for the other man. She had a better lawyer (actually he was still trying to be fair) and she ended up with the house, car and spousal support, even though she admitted in court that she cheated.

Does the guy she's cheating with have more money? It might not matter who gets what! She may be better off... you have to look at the bright side of things!
