I can't install my printer?

When I get to the choice of a network printer or a private printer it won't let me pick a private printer and when I type a name in for the printer it says it is invalid

if its hp printer then
u must have got a hp all in one cd with your printer
insert it and select auto play
go ahead and install it
ok??????????

Get a Macintosh! Seriously, this wouldn't even be an issue.

Sounds like you are not an administrator to the PC.
