Columbus because Indians and Native Americans aren't the same thing. Columbus found the Native Americans here, so they had to be here before him.

Ironically the very first human to set foot anywhere on any of the Americas about 13000 years ago was name Columbus Smith. This is very rare trivia any hardly anyone knows it. So the answer to your questions is Yes.
