• In Ex. 21:22-25, God tells us what to do if a man who is brawling knocks against a pregnant woman. If the woman dies, the principle of "life for life" is invoked and the man responsible for her death must be killed. If she lives but has a miscarriage, then the death of the fetus is to be compensated for by the payment of a fine, as demanded by the woman’s husband.
Thus has God revealed the status of the unborn fetus: it is not an independent, full-fledged human life, whose destruction amounts to murder. It is a thing owned by the woman’s husband—a thing whose loss, like that of any other thing, may be compensated for with money.
• In Num. 5:11-31, God commands a husband to get an abortion for his wife if he suspects she has been impregnated by another man. A priest is to make her drink a potion and tell her, "If any man other than your husband has had intercourse with you, may the LORD make an example of you . . . by bringing upon you miscarriage and untimely birth."
To deliberately cause a miscarriage is to perform an abortion. And who brings about this miscarriage? Who performs this abortion? It is the LORD who does so. God is an abortionist.

Twisting the Word of God to accomodate your distorted view of life. I believe Satan did that to Eve in the Garden of Eden.
"For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.[a]
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there were none of them.
Psalm 139:13-16
"You shall not murder.
Exodus 20:13

Yes it is. You err in your assessment of Numbers. It is not suggesting abortion as the result of the potion but to tell if she is really telling the truth. Nowhere does it ever state it is for an abortion, nor is abortion ever mentioned. It is for jealousy, not abortion, that the potion is even administered to see if the woman is telling the truth about laying with another man. If she did and lied about it, it says nothing about abortion but that her belly would swell and her thigh would rot. Don't know where you are getting your wording from but I have my bible open and it says nothing but what I have told you. See the NKJV. No, it is not God doing any abortion as that is not even mentioned here but only a curse that would be on a woman if she were to lie about what she did to cause her husband to be jealous. Better read it again and you will see a big difference.

The Lord had this to say to the prophet Jeremiah: "in the previous I formed you in the womb I knew you, beforeyou were born I set you aside; I appointed you as a prophet to the international locations." Jeremiah a million:5 The Lord said that even in the previous he formed Jeremiah in the womb he knew what style of guy he replaced into. in case you're in the womb God knows you, he already has plans for you in this Earth, he created you with love and care. no human being has a suitable to take that far off from someone. those who take a existence unjustly will face the wrath of God at their judgement. "although the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who prepare magic arts, the idolaters and liars, their position will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. that's the 2d death." Revelation 21:8

I'll check all that out later. But for now, think about child labor, as recently as my Grandparent's youth. They were considered chattel. Property. A thing.
I hope you can understand the principles of love that came into religious doctrine, over a thousand years after that was written. That advance, has take two thousand years to manifest itself in society.
Back then, Moses was justified by the Law, but now, Christians are justified by Faith, through Grace.
Rape too had a totally different definition. (I mention rape, as it is often used to support some abortion arguments)

I always find it amusing (and sad) when atheists claim to be authorities on Bible interpretation. The Bible clearly states that "the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned" (1 Corinthians 2:14). If anyone is in doubt regarding what the Scripture says about abortion, they will do far better to check out these links:

Well from those passages it would seem so although much as I have found you must read the entire story behind anything in order to truly understand the paragragh taken from the bible... So just off of that I would say yes.. but there is still room for doubt... Although I like that you are reading and mmore then that questioning what you read.. That shows that you are reading and paying attention.

Absolutely! He knows us before we're born...
Miscarriages come because we are fallen beings living in a fallen world.
God's Will is perfect, and His thoughts are not our thoughts, if this were so, we would be God. He commanded men to war, but I wouldn't call Him a murderer.
He created us and put us here, He has the right to take us away.

My My My... You do come up with some of the most outlandish, bizarre observations that are obviously viewed thru a strange thought process.. Good luck with that..
Why are you trying to incite anger. That is so clear from your questions. IT IS TIME TO STOP THE ANGER.
I think you have every right to view your world in your way.. But please don`t inflict it upon us.. If you choose NOT to believe that is fine..
You do realize that if he brought you into the world he can surely take you out?
But really JUST WHAT IS YOUR POINT??
God bless & hugs from Texas. {:-)

oh I didnt know all that but its important for people to know because there are millions upon millions of children being born out of wedlock and these "unions" were NOT MEANT TO BE!
not blessed by God... any two people can get pregnant, just look at the ghetto with fathers of 5 kids here 5 there.... not even sure who the father is..... surely this isnt what God wanted... sure he is Merciful and just to love and bless everyone after they are born but they were in no way meant to be in many cases... sorry just true
