Yes. Unless of course, you are the playwright (or a playwright trying to follow the example of the Master Playwright). Or if you are on the stage crew, you might find yourself in more of a supportive position for a long time. Eventually, however, one would hope no one stays in the audience forever, but that we can trade off roles now and then.
