her first acting job was as a dancer on Dance Party USA in 1986. Then, she was in All my Children from 1990 to 2002.

All My Children, which debuted in 1970, would be considered her first acting job. For Dance Party USA, she did news reports and/or dancing, neither are considered acting like acting on a soap opera would be.
It could be construed that her manager, Cathy Parker was the first to hire her. Cathy Parker urged Kelly to pursue acting after seeing her perform in the senior high school play, The Ugly Duckling
But, casting for All My Children is done by Judy Wilson since 1991, so she started a year after Kelly started on AMC. Judy Wilson probably knows who was casting the show in 1990.
