Yes, you can totally have children after surgery unless they remove both of your ovaries, it they remove half, or one of your ovaries you can still have children, again the only way you wouldn't be able to have children is if they removed BOTH ovaries!!! I have the same problem except in have 7 in one ovarie and 3 in the other one!!!Good Luck!!!

What kind of surgery? Are they just going in to drain the cyst or are they removing the ovary completely? Normally if the ovary can be saved, the doctors will try to do that versus removing it completely. You will be able to have children after the surgery.
Both ovaries release eggs. (Usually they trade off every other cycle). Some people have a "dominant" ovary, meaning that it releases eggs more often than the other. Even if they have to remove this ovary (unlikely scenario) as long as your other ovary is still producing eggs, you will be able to conceive.

Depends on what they do for surgery. If you have a hystorectemy, no. If it is just to remove the cyst from one, you have another. Honestly talk to your dr. about your concern. But either way have it done. My Mom left hers and now it is cancerous, but she is 57 and has 4 grown children.

I had an ovary removed surgically over 30 years ago. Had normal periods and 2 children after that with no problems. The remaining ovary kicks in and does double duty, so to speak. You should be fine.

as long as there are no complications you can. i'm not sure of the chances that you will not be able to conceive after that, because it changes with the details and the person the surgery is on. doctors have gotten so good now though, that i would try not to worry about it too much until after the surgery. i know someone who had this surgery, and wasn't supposed to be able to have kids after wards, but then she was able to get pregnant anyways.
