im guess its the 1st year in uni but i dont have a clue

Well, I think it's often the case when doing an undergrad degree that many of your classmates will be immature and the prof treats you like a kid. You're sort of an exception, already having some post-secondary experience, but it's most likely that the majority of your classmates have just left high school. If you want to try and transfer programs, then that could be a viable option, but if I were you then I'd stick with getting a BA of some sort and then continue on to do your Master's, which would probably be more interesting and more flexible. Don't say that it's the prof's fault for not motivating you to show up for lectures...part of being a mature adult means motivating yourself. If you have certain goals for yourself and those involve higher education, then you have to make a commitment to learning the course material, regardless of the prof.

Bachelor of Arts. The 2 letters appear after someones name when that person has achieved a degree in a certain subject of study, e.g. History or English.
Bachelor of Science (B Sc) would be for Physics.

BA stands for Batchelor of Arts.

as many have said it is a batchelor of arts.

this is an undergraduate course in uk universities, ie after A levels and the like. subjects such as english and history would usually be BA.

normallyy 3 year course in england wales and northern ireland - not sure about scotland system works differently
