What do psychic mediums actually see?

i.e. When they say things like, "The spirit's a girl, with pig tails, sitting in the corner, crying" Or when they describe the physical apprearance of a dead person.

I see, if it is a human spirit, the person the spirit was in live. They are kind of washout like a old photo that as faded. If it is inhuman I see it in its true form which usually not a pleasant thing to see. By the why I never ask for money when helping out in a haunting. I turn it down when it is offered.

well, it depends on what type of abilities he/she has. For example, claurvoyance means they see in thier minds eye a pictureo f what a person looks like. A frined had lost thier pair or reading glasses. I 'saw' blue carpet, a blanket and a chair.
eventually, when searching the house, they found the glasses under a bedroom chair with blue carpet and a blanket on the chair. That type of thing. I can actually perform these thing, but there not very clear, I tested it on someone drawing, after seeing someone on tv preform it, and like 7 out of 10 time I got it, or was close to it, some times I would just say shapes like I see a square, which most would say your just naming shape, but I really saw a square, and I was trying to picture the drawers hand movements in my head, and tried to become that person so to speak, so that I could see through threre eye, and thats when I got my best answer, like she would draw a window, again simple, but then thing like a dog taking a crap, a little harder, but then drawing thing I never seen, and could answer correctly is a hard thing to do

Often it's just an "impression" of something. The ones like the "Crossing Over" guy are BRILLIANT psychologists. They are able to elicit enough information from the suckers, I mean audience, to develop a pretty good Idea of what they are expected to describe. Human nature being what it is, the audience tends to like what they hear. A psychic artist gave me a sketch she drew of a little boy i lost at a late stage of my pregnancy. She drew him as a medium spoke to me about my loss. Although no description was ever given about my little boy (i knew he was a boy) the sketching was of a boy identical to my first son when he was born.

I asked her how she knew how he would have looked and she told me that she could see him standing next to me while the medium spoke to me.

It wasn't a local psychic fair, medium and artist didn't know me and my children were not with me either. This leads me to believe that they do see a person and, in some cases, the picture is pretty clear.

well for myself when i use my psychic senses, its like an imagination, the best things that are correct are the first ones that pop into my head. it seems like a memory or like a dream imagination. and this is why its often called the mind's eye. these are often called imprints, for good reason if you take the first thought unadulterated its like a snapshot from outside of yourself popping in. but if you look at it then try to make sense of it your mind will alter it to fit it into the frame work of your mind. but this makes the imprint go wrong. master psychics are the ones that can literally shut off their judgement of the thought and give the straight unadultered image out as what they saw.

for each psychic it's different...for me it's feelings, and I have vivid dreams that are usually true....the only apparations I see on a regular basis are animals who've passed on..i've only seen 2 people....I sense more...

and to the poster who says we only see money..that's not true..I charge NOTHING when I see or feel something, so try again.
