Pi (a nuber near to 3.14159...), as any other positive real number has a square root. But its value (just as the value of pi itself) is not a rational number.

No. It has a square root which is also irrational and transcendental.
Disregard any answers that say otherwise.

Edit: You're asking two questions --
Does pie(3.14) have a square root?
The other day I heard that Pie did not have a square root... is this true?

The answer to the first is YES; the answer to the second is NO.

It dosn't have a perfect square.
by the way it's 3.14159265. A friend of mine spends her free time(unless she has something else to do) practicing pi. She knows the first 100 digits... all I can say is some try beating that...an ordinary person not a record holder!Oh and you have to be 13!!

3.14 isn't accurate... 3.142 or 3.1418 is good enough
