The people who seem to not seek the meaning of life could be more accepting of where they are in life and live in the moment.
I know people who are like this, unlike me full of questions and at times slightly tormented trying to find answers, answers i may never find. Life is what you make it and it is all in your head and mine too and it's o.k. it doesn't mean it's not real. A person could be open minded and still lack the ambition to reach all the things they can see that life could be for them. You could take a narrow minded person full of ambition and in their mind they are fine and they believe they are living a full life. I believe you discover your own meaning if you feel you need a meaning in life. To answer your question more directly, some people don't need a meaning to their life because living it is good enough for them.

1) u determine ur own purpose of living, nobody can do that for u. U need to be creative there LOL. 2) because people are selfish, till someone is not dead, nobody cares. 3) Good point. Rightness should have to deal with morals. Society has laws. Now, even though it has these laws, not everyone respects them, because some think they are above the laws. However, laws are not perfect themselves, because they are made by humans whereas morals are not made by humans, they are thought by humans, but they are unachievable because they are perfect, whereas humans are not. So what laws do is to try and get as closer as they can to morals, but they will never be morals, so they will never be 100% right like ur own morals. So, the only way to be right is to be as OBJECTIVE as possible (this is why we have some good laws). "Outcast" nobody is an outcast, everyone is "pro-jected" into the World, therefore everyone belongs to planet Earth. Whoever said that to you, is an asshole, call him that if u see him. 4) Not true, you can decide not to study and get bad marks, I liked to learn to write and speak. What other education would you propose? U don't need to have just that education in ur life, school education is just a basics to get ur own independent education as u grow older and more experiences, see? Experience is another type of education, but unfortunately we cannot afford to experience everything and know everything, because the truth is we are all ignorant. Educating, means being slightly less ignorant, but it is a good opportunity to exploit u know? 5) A real teacher should take the best out of the student, not dictate. If u feel like ur teacher is ignorant, then change school. Sure, a good teacher is a right of everyone 6) Society is not necessarily limited, it is governed by some limited thinkers. Nothing is absolute, not even society. Society as a word doesn't even make sense, because Society gives an idea of togetherness, whereas we are all selfish and separated only a few are fortunate and have the money and govern others, this is not Society should be a cradle that protects and involves all humans. 7) I am not sure what u mean LOL. Well I lived my own life by myself and I was happy, because I listened to my morals. So you think immoral people live better? LOL. 8) What happened to you? Have you not been treated as an equal? Equal to what? To a delinquent? You should be happy you have not been treated as an equal, in fact we are all humans, but we are all different humans, so equality is not really a right noun to describe us. Good night xxx Eastern people always say: trust others but also check.

Life IS meant ot be lived but almost none of us are concerned with Life, we're concerned with evil, which is the opposite of Life or "to live".
Life is connecting to the divine and finding peace and being able to speak to God personally in the quiet time that we set aside for Him.
Evil is connecting to the worldly and finding joy in the lusts of the flesh which include everything that brings us physical pleasure: sex, greed, lust, money, power, manipulation, etc.
Life is about GIVING to others.
Evil is about GETTING from others.
Life is NOT hard, although learning to appreciate Life goes AGAINST everything the physical world teaches us to value. Even now many of the the readers will balk that being against success, wealth and greed makes for a loser, monk mentality. Those that reason that will cannot possibly understand what I have typed here.
Evil packages well and is VERY easy, HOWEVER, all evil comes with consequences: revenge, backbiting, retaliation, anger, pain, etc.
So you see, your question actually mixes two different metaphors which is why it seems unanswerable, but it really is simple.
And just as finding God is simple, it a shame that almost no one can accomplish it.

Life, many times, is only as hard as you make it. Life, at its essence, is an individual thing. Each person determines the parameters of their life, and only their life. To say others aren't seeking the meaning of life, or that they have closed minds, is usually an incorrect assumption. Since you cannot determine the parameters of someone else's definition of life, you cannot correctly judge their mindedness or level of seeking. To say, if you were to say it, that someone isn't living life as correctly, well, or as meaningfully as you is to misunderstand the whole concept in the first place, and that statement alone would say more about you than them. Harse judgement of others is usually effort ill-placed. To each his own. Live and let live. And it takes all kinds. For any force to exist, it's equal and opposite force must also exist. All people cannot be the same. And even if that were possible, it would make for a very boring world.

The quick and easy answer is that we're stuck with Murphy's Law which is only a subset of the irreversible edicts spelled out in the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics....this is why life is hard.
To seek the meaning is a waste of time, just live your life with two goals in mind only, namely:
increase pleasure
decrease pain

Your question reminds me of nature. Cowbirds are lazy and parasitic. They lay in wait for a small bird with a nest full of eggs, then push all the eggs out and lay theirs in the nest. The little bird doesn't know it's raising a big ugly parasite. We never know as we go through life who the parasites are sometimes until the damage is done, but we go on doing our best anyway, just like the little bird who feeds the chick that isn't hers.

life is so freaking hard because it is a series of events that are PREPARING you for something greater. Think of it like school. You go to school to get a good education. You get a good education to get a good job. You get a good job to make decent money. You make decent money to give your kids (if applies) a chance at all of the same stuff. All the way through this schooling and careers it gets tough. But we have to stick it through so our future has a chance.
-- a good friend once told me-- everything happens for a reason, Its the hard things that make you stronger.

because if we all could see things for all that they could be we would acheive world peace, our government greed, greed amoungst ourselves racism and hatred and varying religious beliefs and disbeliefs keep us all from this, there is so much more to life than war and famine and disease, imagine if all the money spent on wars were spent on trying to find cures for diseases and space exploration and preservation of wildlifes and cultures and cultivating foods, it's just to bad that the majority of people that do care just don't have the money and the means to do so, I would have to say those that don't ask remain ignorant and life is just what you make of it, but my firm belief is that life is meant to enjoy and have children and grow old with your loved one and to not make things to complicated for yourself or others around you, to bad things didn't work out that way

You got part of it right. Some people learn from life, some do not.
Life is hard because you learn from it if you have any sense of wisdom. Some people never develop that wisdom, some have it inborn. SOME never use the wisdom they have, some just never bother--at their peril.

when people say the meaning of life is to live, they dont necessarliy mean your not following any rules, I look at life as a test of humanity, we must live but follow the rule of the test, and the answer to your question is that people dont want to question life, because they fear the answer, GOOD QUESTIONs
