this is the worst performance i've seen for Italy so far, drawing with the US is humiliating

Shameful on both sides. The Americans played hard but they played much too hard. It was brutal football with little artistry and the Americans deserved a lot more yellows that they got. The Italians were just plain stupid, because they let the Americans drag them into a street brawl instead of a football game. The Italians would have won, had they just played the game instead of reacting to the American aggression.

I think it's hilarious on one hand because it's just so "off"... and *very* sad for Italy on the other. I really feel for the Italian team. They've always been favourites in the world of football/soccer and their country is not going to be pleased that they couldn't even win against the USA...

yeah this WC is screwed up till now! Italy qualified but the results weren't satisfying at all, England also qualified with a bad result, Brazil aren't playing like what their fans have been waiting 4 years for, Germany isn't that good either, and france is prooving the cheat they did in 98. Argentina is the only one that's playing well till now.

Team america deserved that draw. They played their hearts out. Not much of a suprise given that they had some redemption to make after their first game.
I really hope they progress to the 16 - they deserve it after tonioght's performance.
In case my picture doesn't give it away, I'm english & therefore totally un-biased.

I cant believe America drawed with Italy. They dominated that whole game and all they have to show for it is 1 measly point and two undeserved red cards

I completely agree! I was wanting a shootout, and I seriously thought that Italy would've run all over the field against the US.
