Divorcing your parents can be accomplished in severe cases. It's called becoming an "Emancipated Minor". A child must prove they can survive and thrive on their own. They have to prove to the court they can attend school and get decent grades, and provide a source of income, whether a job or trust fund or something. Usually the court will also require a sponsor to mentor and guide the minor through life. This person can be a n adult friend or relative or may be court appointed.

Yes, it is called emancipation. I'm not sure what the child has to prove in order to do it though. But I do know that once the child is emancipated from the parent, the parent is no longer responsible for paying for anything for the child.
