Most air conditioners have a dehumidifier built into the unit. When the unit removes the humidity from the air, it drains out into a special drain Most central air has an attachment where you can screw on a garden hose to run to a floor drain, if your house wasn't built equip for central air. New homes have a built in drain in the area designed to contain your furnace/AC. Window units have little plastic tubes that go on the outside of the window. Check to see if you have a drain on your unit and that it is properly installed.

Your drain pan is probably cloged up. unhook the drain and use a wet vac to suck the pan drain out and also the drain line as it can also be cloged up

you have a clog in the water drip line.
that leads out side.
You can use a wet dry vac to suck it out it works great,
or try to blow it out from inside.
