You need to know the other "players" really well. How they will respond and try to be honest with yourself about how you will respond. It always sounds like a fun idea until you actually do it. I know lots of people who have done it and they all have the same experience as I did. Suddenly it feels really weird to be around these people I really loved and felt comfortable with before the trio. Also, be really conscious of STDs. Almost 90% of the sexually active population in America has an STD. Whether is be oral herpes or something more insidious like HPV where there are no symptoms in most people until they try to have a baby. It just isn't safe to play without protection these days.
