I was reading the summary for The Lakehouse and how are they two years apart?

From just seeing the previews im geussing its something to do with time. like time travel.

They are in different dimensions. They live in the same house at the same momemt but are unable to see each other. It is not like they are dead. They are just out of sink. Think Star Trek and the episode where they were able to speed up some of the cast with special devices. For those who were not sped up it was as though they were invisible. It works both ways. It is a speed of light thing. Add to that they have a love for the same lake house, a common bond, and; the question becomes can they feel each other or are they each other? Does that bond make them kindred spirits or the same spirit in different people at different times in crisscrossing dimensions. You might want to rent Frequency and see if it makes more sense. Similar philosophy, different plot and different means of connection.

My Friends and I saw the movie yesterday and we all think
it stinks. I love Sandra Bullock & Keneau Reeve but the movie
was about 2 hours of boredom. We each rated it a 2.

I saw the movie, and as far as I can figure, they send letters through this mailbox that sends letters either two years in the future or two years in the past.

It does look confusing but sandra bullock and keneau do have good chemistry when working together.
