Alan Rickman by far.
Russell Crowe seems to be much too cocky of a person, and I've never found his acting to worthwhile. Many Crowe supporters could say the same about Rickman, but personally, Alan Rickman has more talent.

Alan Rickman, come on he is Awesome...he's been in countless hits including Harry Potter movies and the first Die Hard..He was also in Dogma with Jay and Silent Bob ......he's just the better actor.
