It's not so much the where as it is the needle used. Ask the person giving the tatoo to not make the needle so deep in the skin, and the pain will not be that bad at all. I've had three tatoos andthe only one that hurt was because of that- honest. Other than that I would say that the fleshy parts would hurt the most.

If you are planning your tattoo by where it wont hurt, you are not ready to get a tattoo. Before you get somehting that is going to be on your body the rest of yourlife you should really think about where you want it and what you want...why even get a tattoo if it isn't significant enough to know where you want to put it? But, to answer your question...just think where on your body would it not hurt to stick a needle in and out of your skin 100's of times....nowhere...

All tattoo's hurt. The least amount of pain will be on your shoulder. It wont look good there though. Girls dont really look that good with tattoos, except on their ankle (i've heard that ankles hurt bad) or their lower back. Good luck.

I have about 22, id say the least painfull one was the one I got on my calf.
Edit** In responce to the lady who got one of her lower back, Id have to say you know nothing about tattoos just for the reason you gt one on your lower back, be original and get one where 90% of the population DOESNT have one.

You shouldn't get one it messes up your body, but it is your choice just get it some were you can conceal it. However, those are the places that they very hurt to get them. Softer skin tissue works best. Good luck.

Usually wherever there is the most "padding".
The upper arm or thigh or butt. The most painful are the thin skinned places like the neck, the inside of the wrist....

u should just get it airbrish and it doesn't hurt and looks like a real tatoo. u'll get tired of having the same tatoo on your body.

Use a bubblegum tattoo, it doesn't hurt anywhere.
