Sure why wouldn't it be? You should not be limited in your interests simply because you are a girl. "Normal" can mean many different things to different people. Being different is not a bad thing. It just means you are a unique individual and stand out in the crowd! It is cool that you dirtbike, skateboard, and play basketball. Don't let ANYONE tell you otherwise!

LOL. Yes. Just make sure that u r able to walk in heels and curl your hair! It is perfectly normal to be a tomboy as song as u r not putting on an act. Remember that boys r very insecure and will pick on u because their nature is to compete and running competition out is a way to win. Girls will pick on u because they are afraid to be different from what magazines, television, and society tell them to be. We are all different. What matters is whether or not we are able to love ourselves and others. It does not determine your sexuality, just your weight and stamina. Use your activities to get schloarships!

Hm, well I don't think it's "normal", meaning I don't think MOST girls do that, but I do NOT think it's unhealthy at all!
Yes, you are surrounded by foofy girls-don't let them get to you!!
And I'm sure everyone around you would like you to conform to their standards.
Sounds like you kick ***-you should be proud of that!
If there is something else you are questioning about yourself becuase of these interests just make sure you are surrounding yourself with helpful supportive people who realize your worth as a person-no matter what your interests are.

Of course it is normal. What's normal? Some girls are athletic, some aren't. Since title nine made schools offer equal sports and athletic resources to both genders, girls have had much more freedom to be athletic and it is entirely acceptable.
If someone is bugging you about this, just shrug and say you are having fun.

Yes if your a tomboy.I was into boys games and loved to fish,hunt and play football.What is the norm for others is not necessarily the norm for yourself.Just have fun being what you want to be.

unless u don't want it to be normal. there's nothing wrong in playing any type of sports whether it was a guy playing gymnastics or a girl boxing

Yes, everyone thinks it's cool. People that don't approve are usually jealous. Being active keeps you young, guys think it's hot, chicks kind of wish they would do it. (Look at Angelina Jolie.)

why not? i'm one of those girls that do that kind of boy stuff. i have a really cool skate board that has this dude with firey hair. do what i do stick with you. it's who you are. if other people don't like it, to bad for them. if it's who you want to be, stick with it.
