Okay, I already consider myself gay. In the fact that I am attracted to other men, however, I have not had sex. I am a virgin, in every sense of the word. So... What exactly makes someone gay? Just the fact that I am attracted to other men? If so... that answers my question and this was pointless. lmfao

Finding someone the same sex as you attractive does not make you gay unless you feed on it. A girl can say another girl is beautiful and not thought of as gay but society for some god forsaken reason, shuns gay men. A man can't state the same without being called gay. It's bullshit really. No if you fantasize, want, or crave for another man it is quit probable that you are indeed gay but being a virgin makes it really hard to determine. Some people have had the same feeling and thoughts about their sexuality only to have acted on them and found out that they were wrong completely. In my case, (Lesbian) I thought I was for having thought of other women but it wasn't until I actually had the experience with another women was when I knew for sure that I am gay.

You have raised two points: 1. Virginity and 2. Being Gay.

Virginity has absolutely nothing to do with sexual orientation. There are lot's of straight and gay virgins. It will happen when you're ready.

One's "gayness" It's not just a physical attraction thing. You also have to consider your feelings about emotional connections. Can you see yourself falling in love with another man as opposed to falling in love with a woman? Add that to your level of physical attraction. If you can fall in love with, maintain an emotional connection with, be physically attracted to, and it just instinctively feels natural and right, then you are probably gay. Ultimately, only you can answer this question.

Yes, just the fact that you are attracted to other men makes you gay. It is the definition of gay.

Being gay is determined by what you want, not what you do. If you are only interested in males sexually -- then you are gay. The same as the 15 year old that wants women with all his heart -- but has never had one -- is straight.

Have fun, and it wasn't pointless -- it was important to you.

Peace.

If you are attracted to other men and you are not attracted to women, then you are gay. You do not have to have sex with another man to be gay.

Since you are attracted to men, that makes you gay. If you haven't have sexual contact with a man, maybe you haven't YET...maybe a little bit sooner or later...

It is possible to be gay and to not have sex. That is precisely what you're doing. So, yes, I'd say I'd have to agree with you in the "gay" department.

I think you already know the answer to this question.

Just like "Dee" said it's one's own judgement: it can be proved by doing something physical but it's also your own thought. If you are totally not unattracted to woman then there's no way you're straight or bi, so you should definately see yourself as gay (which you already do).
