That depends...is the friend ok with the friends with benefits scenario. I say that because once you cross that line, the friendship will undoubtably change. But it can be a good thing if the friend is open to the friend with benefits idea.

You should absolutely and entirely limit your sexual experiences to friends.
For my part, call me narrow minded if you like, I'd cut that down to friends of the the same species, opposite gender and above the age of consent.

Yes but be aware that the friendship will absolutely in no way be the same as it was before. So go for it if you don't mind the change.

sure, if you're both ok with it, and don't allow it to change your relationship. the term is "friends with benefits"
I've had some over the years, and we were both able to handle it.
