No!!!! Take a small break when you cannot concentrate. You are doing yourself no good. That is the bodys way of telling you to stop for a while and let it rest. A 15 min to a half an hour away from you studing area should do the trick. Wash your face, get a little something to eat and drink. Rest your mind a bit then get back at it.

It's much, much better if you make something else for a while. Take my example: I have to study a lot these days and today (till some minutes ago:) and in this moment I can't concentrate myself no more and I don't have good results. So...I'm on Yahoo answer right now, this relax me a lot.
Hope you'll make a good work!

Most reasearch says that studying any more than an hour is futile. The brain cells need time to recharge, so take a break and get back to work later.

hi! if i were you, i would take a break about an hour. breathe fresh air and tell yourself your doing well. Studying must be comfortable. if you are feeling uncomfortable, try to seek what it is and try to improve it. Some suggestions is going outside, eating, listening to classical music, or just being calm and telling yourself its fine. i hope you can concentrate while studying now! good luck!

no. That's unreasonable. When I took a computer class last year, the instructor said, "spend a reasonalbel amount of time on home work. Studying so long that you can't concentrate, is not a reasonable amount of time. "

Take a break and go running - it always clears ones head. Then, pull out the book and get started again.

... either that or find someone w/ADD meds.

YOU SHOULD TAKE A LONG BREAK, AND GET A BREATH OF FRESH AIR. GET A SOMETHING TO EAT, TAKE A GOOD SHOWER, GET SOMETHING TO DRINK, AND TAKE A NAP TO GET YOUR MIND CLEAR, AND WHEN YOU WAKE UP YOU SHOULD FEEL BETTER TO RESUME STUDYING. I HOPE THIS HELPS!!
