I've been writing for about 10 years and I've been going to spoken word contest and winning a lot of contest and I think that I've gotten to a point where I think that I'm ready to write my own book, what is the process?

The process for writing your own book is planting your bottom on a chair in front of your computer and beginning. Draft out an outline, so you know where you are going with the story.
Is it fiction or non-fiction?
What kind of research will you have to do?
Who are the characters in your book? Write out a description of each of them, because you have to know these guys as well as you know your next door neighbours.
We'll assume you've done all that stuff and written your book.
Are you thinking of self publishing? Because that's a VERY hard route to go. Publishing is easy, but marketing will kill you. Much better to try and get a recognized publisher to handle your book.
To do that, send in a one page outline of your story, and attach a sample chapter. Also tell them of your contest wins. Enclose a stamped, self addressed envelope, or they won't reply to you.
You might want to try for an agent -- but that's not easy for a first time author.
Keep at it! It's worth it in the long run.
Good luck to you.

That's a very complicated question that can't be sufficiently answered here. The best first step, other than reading some books on the topic, is to put together an outline of your book. The outline is a a road map that will allow you to write a coherent book that flows correctly and doesn't lag. You have to be familiar with your book concept from start to finish before you attempt to write it. If you can't put together a good, detailed outline, then either you're not ready to write it yet, or the book concept isn't good enough. A lot of how the process goes depends on whether you're writing fiction or non-fiction. Should you write a book, you will find that to be the easiest part in the process. Trying to find an agent and/or publisher will be the hardest thing you ever do. There is plenty of material in books and on the web that can help you, and writing software, too.

Well storyboards help get your ideas organized as well as plot, characters etc.

Once you've written your book it's a good idea to get a literary agent. You can find a bunch of those guys online.

Or you can try to propose your book to a publisher, specifically the "Submissions Editor".

You're going to need to write a book proposal where you would use a business letter format. Write about your book speicifically and how it's different, describe your experince as a writer and how it influenced your book, explain your target audience.

Some people include a self-addressed envelope for the editor to return comments and to see if they actually will want to read your book.

Good Luck
