I need a 'cat in the hat' hat for a sponsered event that I'm doing. I tried on Ebay, but the only hat I found was in the USA, and it won't ship over in time. (I need it on Thursday.)
Does anyone have any ideas how to get a 'cat in the hat' hat by Thursday?!

Try theatrehouse.com. They have a cat-in-the-hat hat for 11.95 US. If you call to place your order and tell them when you want to receive it they should be able to help you. It'll cost more to ship than to buy the hat, but they're very fast.

Im sure they have patterns for the hat in a fabric store or local Wal-Mart if you have them in your area.It's not a hard pattern to follow and you can use felt.It's so much fun and you will feel more accomplished if you make it yourself.If that doesn't make you feel good, saving money will.Good luck!

You could make one quite easily, using cardboard for the brim, and maybe felt, papier mache or gum tape for the rest.
