You damn right !!!! And if anybody doesn't agree with that then there just full of it and need to wake the hell up !!!!!! Kobe's the best scorer since " His Airiness" and nobody can take over a game like he can since MJ did it. He's not better than Jordan, but he's the closes thing, and that's why everyone hates him. When Jordan was the same age as Kobe he was called selfish and a ball hog too... and everyone told him scoring kings can't be champions... Well, six rings later here we are. Don't hate Kobe, congratulate him, he's the true air apparent. And he will soon make fools out of all his naive critics, to the point where they don't even exist. And I'll be there to taunt and reticule each and every one of them. (people are just to impressionable) !!
I bet that if Duncan, T Mac, or Kobe were in the finals right now, everyone would be on their jocks and nobody would be talking about Wade. Its funny to me how blind people are.

As far as all around talent, yes he most certainly is the best player in the league. He can defend and stop anyone, and can score like no one ever has. He can penetrate, shoot outside, pass and run an offense. He is one of the best clutch shooters of all time and he can take over a game single handedly. He also "can" make his teammates better when he wants to. He can be sensitive and let that sensitivity effect his game. He is the best player since MJ for sure. If Lebron improves his defense and if Dwayne keeps growing he will have some competition soon.

Sorry man, the best player in the NBA must either have the ability to make the other players on his team step up their games, or single-handedly take his team deep into the playoffs. Kobe hasn't done either. He only won those 3 with Shaq because of Shaq, who was unstoppable at that point in his career.
Since Jordan retired, I would say either Duncan or Iverson.

Not even close. Best "playa" maybe. Best team-destroyer maybe. Best example of a person wasting massive natural talent maybe. He couldn't touch #23 with a long-distance phone call. What Lebron and Wade are going to do in the next couple of years will put Bryant to shame.

Don't even think of mentioning Kobe in the same category with Michael. There has never been and there will never be a player like Michael Jordan.

He has great skills, certainly. But his incredibly selfish and self-serving attitude will always leave him a distant second (at best) to MJ.

Dwayne Wade is looking like he may be some competition for that crown.
