I'm just wondering what the first day of summer is this year, technically. Because I don't really get a summer break--I have to go to (gag me) summer school!!!!!! Isn't that awful? :-( Oh well. I'm wondering when all of my friends fun in the sun begins, while I slave away on x + y = a + b, and analyzing Socratic logic. Ick. While you're kicking back and relaxing on the beach, everyone, remember me, and my suffering!! :-) Lol.

Could I also have some websites that have calendars of when the seasons change? That would be great. Thanks!!

kmh5--you don't have to say "Duh!" because I didn't know. You make me seem like a dumb person and that was really rude. I wish you hadn't gotten the 2 points for "answering" this question. Let me tell you, I will NOT be choosing your answer as best. Please try to be nicer to people. Maybe you think just because I'm blonde and I asked a question that you know and you think everyone knows that I'm dumb. Well you know what? Blondes aren't always dumb, no matter how many jokes there are about them and no matter how stereotypical it is to consider a blonde "dumb." So think about that. I may actually be smarter than you think, but maybe, perhaps, I might be a little more naive than you, ever thought of that? So please try to be nicer to people. You won't ever get your answer picked as the best one if you are't nice. Mean answer are never appreciated. So try a different response next time.

Summer solstice is the first day of summer. It's also the longest day of the year. That doesn't mean our day has more than 24 hours in it - we just have more sunlight.

This year it's JUNE 21st.

PS: I love Jesus too, and I'm taking a summer math course. God bless :)

In my country, summer has already ended and rainy season has begun. In my place, March-May are the summer months. Good luck on your summer school. Don't worry, you can make time for the beach on weekends and afternoons right? And don't forget, you get on allowance while other kids on vacation don't.
