Unless it is recommended by your physician for some particular reason, there is no reason for a woman to ever douche.

The vagina (just like the nose, the eyes, the ears or the rectum) has its own biological methods to keep itself healthy. Putting chemicals in there in an attempt to clean it just screws up natures already very good cleaning mechanism.

Wash off the outside and let it go at that.

douching is not good for a woman. it can dry you out and it can wash away the bodies nautral cleaning processes making you more likely to get infections down there. You should see a gyno if you have any other questions regarding this sensitive area.

Never. It messes up the natural bacterias of your vagina and makes you more apt to get infections. Doucheing (sp?) came from an era when women's vaginas were considered dirty and women menstruating were considered dirty. Forget all that, skip the doucheing and be healthy of mind and body!

When you become sexually active is typically when women start to douche to wash out the semen.

It isn't something you should do often because it can mess with the chemistry in your hoo hoo.

My Gynocologist advised me against douching. He said that the body had a natural purge system to eliminate the unwanted things. He also told me it can be bad for you.Practice good hygeine and bath.

Only when you have an infection or after your period. Only if you really need it cuz it cleans out all of your natural "stuff" and you could get an infection just from that. BTY it makes it really dry! EWK!

Never. Those parts aren't supposed to smell like flowers. Shower regularly using plain old soap, you'll be fine.
