if you were selected to be the valedictorian you excelled greatly overall in your academics. Now when you give your speech be encouraging to your fellow graduates. Tell how great it was walking those school halls with them over the past few years. Tell them about what a difference you all will try to make in all your future endeavors. Thank all the teachers and counselors that helped you and don't forget to tell your parents thanks for helping you with these new beginnings since it is only elementary school that you are graduating from. Remember just be positive sweet and uplifting. congrats.

Wow, I didn't even know there were valedictorians in elementary school. I was valedictorian of my high school class (the student with the highest grade point average), and my speech didn't get picked to be given at graduation, perhaps because my mind went blank halfway through for about 25 seconds. However, I remember my subject included how knowledge by itself isn't useful unless you use it to serve others. If you write it out and practice it at least 4 times you shouldn't have too much trouble. You can do it!

The valedictorian is the person in your class who has the overall best grades. If you wanted to say why you should be a valedictorian, you could say something like how you're motivated, how you would be a good role model for your classmates.

Congratulations. I think a good topic is something has inspired you to keep working hard at your schoolwork, or describing how you overcame some disappointment. Something that you would like to share with other people that is deeply meaningful, and that shows off your qualities as an individual. But you don't want to bore them, so try to generalize the circumstances so others can see a message in it.

If you are able to speak from your heart about something, you will lose your nervousness.

I would also ask some teachers who you are close with for their advise.
